Nanobac Life Sciences Announces Publication Linking Nanobacterial Infection and Calcified Ovarian Cancer

TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)----Nanobac Life Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:NNBP), announced today the publication of a study entitled "Presence of nanobacteria in psammoma bodies of ovarian cancer: evidence for pathogenetic role in intratumoral biomineralization" in the peer reviewed journal Histopathology (2004) 45, 633-637.

Nanobac's Nanobacteria-specific 8D10 antibody and nanobacterial culture technique were used in these experiments. The authors reported that 100% of calcified ovarian cancers had Nanobacteria present and 100% of uncalcified ovarian cancers lacked Nanobacteria. These findings confirm a previous study that also found that 100% of calcified ovarian cancers were positive for Nanobacteria. This may be important because calcium is known to stimulate abnormal cell growth. Further studies are needed to show if anti-nanobacterial / anti-calcific therapies could benefit these patients.

Hi Hrts--

Sorry for losing touch with this topic for the last few weeks.  How did your 12/2 images turn out?  Because my stones are in my testicles (or, as I like to say, "because my stones are in my stones"), they are not the type that can be passed and analyzed.  Biopsies aren't an option either (as if I would allow it if they were!).  I've been holding off on getting my next ultrasound because my symptoms (basically, sore testicles) haven't resolved at all yet, so I'm guessing the images won't look much different.  As soon as I start to feel better down there, I will definitely get the ultrasound done.  I'm hopeful I will be able to "see" any improvements I "feel," especially in light of the article Aussie Barb just posted!
